Catherine Wettstein and Jeremy Franke of Germantown are planning a July 28, 2012, wedding at St. Mary Church in Menomonee Falls.

Parents of the couple are Debbie and Tim Schlieder of Germantown, Paul Wettstein of Jackson, and Amy and Jeff Franke of Germantown.

The bride-to-be, a 2003 graduate of Germantown High School, earned her bachelor's degree in education in 2007 from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She is a teacher at Christ King School in Wauwatosa and the head volleyball coach at Sussex Hamilton High School in Sussex.

The future groom, also a 2003 graduate of GHS, earned his associate degree in fire science in 2006 from Milwaukee Area Technical College. He is a captain with the Germantown Fire Department.
